Shot List

This is my first shot list. I plan on working one scene/shot at a time and as I make progress I will check off the complete shots by marking their status green instead of red, to help myself stay organized and clear. It will be very satisfying to soon see each row marked green!

Shot of house from outside; house is nice and big in a wealthy & clean neighborhood.

Inside living room, puppy is laying on floor resting as owner comes out of his room all dressed up.

Puppy's head raises immediately and gets super excited.

Outside, owner opens up backseat car door and puppy hops inside.

In the car, puppy's face is smushed as its pressed up against the window as he observes the outside; shot of puppy's face on window and shot of what puppy sees as car drives by.

Car stops. From puppy's POV he watches the owner get out of the car, and tries to follow him out before the owner closes the door in puppy's face and puppy watches him walk into a building.

Puppy, staring out the window, starts barking when he sees another dog outside.

A random person passing by in the parking lot hears the puppy's barking and approaches the car thinking that puppy is barking for help out of the hot car. Shot of person walking then his attention turns to car; over-the-shoulder shot of person outside the window looking at puppy barking.

Person uses a rock or elbow to smash the window, then just walks away.

Puppy, looking confused, props his head outside broken window.

Puppy notices a little boy holding a balloon as he walks beside his mom; this triggers puppy to leap out of the window and sprint toward them. The puppy hurdles the little boy and bites the balloon in mid-air.

The owner exits the building to see broken glass all around his car, puppy barking in helium barks in parking lot as mom comforts her crying son.

-setting is wealthy suburban neighborhood home
-teenage boys rapping/drinking/smoking cigs in basement; talking about their plans of helping their one friend become a famous rapper
-post song on soundcloud, gets a couple hundred views and friends get hype
-friends convince rapper to get a tattoo
-fast-forward to a year later, kid is covered in tats,


Animation idea #1:

-Superhero chases villain into space after epic fight that just destroyed the whole city; hero vows to the people that he will get him.

-Some space action later.... Planet of the original people are now old people and watching the space action from the sky (the people are in the same spots as they were when the hero/villain left, destoryed city is now very futuristic city)

-Hero finally returns, but he notices that all the original/old people are actually dead now and a new generation of babies has taken over the world. He thinks he went back in time



Idea #3:
-Global warming/apocalypse... humans are forced to leave their lives on land/earth and live in underwater subs/ships colony deep inside ocean, spaceships, etc.

-Fish swimming through garbage/dirty water, swims past an ocean ship window
-From little kid's perspective/narration on ocean boat looking out the window, talks about how boring his life is on boat, that he wants to go outside and explore/see nature
-Birds flying over wasteland, buildings/factories/human structures litter the ground
-From another sad kid's perspective, looking out spaceship window back at small earth in distance(earth's snowcaps are melted, the size of continents are much smaller, oceans bigger, satellites littered in the planet's orbit), saying his room is so small and wants to go run in the big open ranges on earth, smell the fresh air
-old man alone on mountain of trash on earth, says something about his how his generation killed the planet, is last human to die
